Making Money Blogging is Easy

At least starting out, it isn’t exactly hard to make a buck or two by blogging. This is just the first dollar or two, but you can easily make $5 per pop with services like PayPerPost, PayU2Blog, and Sponsored Reviews. Word counts range from 50 to over 400 so you really want to target those 50 word posts. At $5, a 50 word post is $0.10 per word. Not half bad, and easy to crank out in a few minutes.
Imagine you did one post per day. That’s $150 over the course of the month.
“But I’m not really making any money blogging if I only make $150 per month!”, you might say.
That’s not the point.
$150 in a month will pay for your web hosting for a year. It pays for the domain you buy. It can be utilized to get greater exposure for your site. Put the money into AdWords, or buy a sponsored review on John Chow’s site (or someone else similar). Buy a 125×125 button on Problogger or Shoemoney’s site.
It’s a starting point, that’s all. You probably won’t get rich blogging this way. But it may be that stepping stone to really making your blog successful.
And I’ve never seen anyone turn down $150. So get started.
In fact, I made $17 this morning alone. Just for writing a few posts.
