I read in Money magazine yesterday that HELOCs — some people’s primary emergency fund — are being frozen by banks due to the credit crunch. This is the worst time in the world to have bad credit, and your financing options for just about everything are drying up everywhere.

Some people may need to take a look at bad credit credit cards as an option. I’m guessing the interest rates are high, but you may have no other options. Another option would be bad credit loans.
