Setting up an LLC or S-Corp to protect blogging income?

Thanks for stopping by. If you're new here, you may want to subscribe to my RSS feed and check out some popular articles.

I have a request. I am interested in learning from anyone who has information about setting up a corporation to put all of my online ventures under. I want to protect my personal assets and whatnot in case I annoy someone that has a lawyer with a happy trigger finger.

Some info I need:

  • how you set up your corporation (LLC, S-Corp, or other)
  • how much it cost
  • how your track revenue, expenses, etc.
  • how you file your taxes
  • was it worth it

Appreciate any help!

From what I’ve heard an S-Corp is the best choice for most bloggers and internet publishers. I think it all depends on how you’re planning on growing your biz etc. Definitely do some hard research before making the leap and filling out the forms.
