…or something like that. Is it called a whip? I saw that show about the Unique motorsports shop the other day… anyways.
Back in high school and college I had an old 1995 BMW 318is. It was an automatic, but I still thought it was fly. I swapped out the springs, struts, and shock absorbers, but never got around to changing the wheels. I was all about performance that looked good. Many wheels out there are too heavy to be truly useful for a sports car. Adding weight is never good unless you get superior grip. After a while, superior grip has to stop somewhere.
Needless to say I prefer smaller aftermarket wheels. Not small, still larger than factory sizes, but not bigger by 5″ either. If you’re interested in getting some new wheels for your ride, you might want to consider R1 racing rims.
